Life with the Libster

Just some ramblings to keep me from going insane while talking to the Libster.

Simcoe Day Weekend

We had a fun filled long weekend. Andrew had friday and today off so we headed off to Collingwood to visit Anita at her vacation condo. For those of you who don't know, Collingwood is 2 hrs north of Toronto smack dab in the middle of cottage country. It's located between Blue Mountain (skiing in the winter) and the Georgian Bay off lake Simcoe (boating and swimming in the summer) and near Wasaga beach. This was Libby's first overnighter. She fared well but had so much fun she didn't want to go to sleep. She didn't fall asleep until 12am friday night and then woke up at the crack of dawn! We got lots of pictures:

In her carseat on the way up And playing Playstation 2 with Daddy and Christopher

Going for a walk dripping with toys! and Andrew and Christopher playing tennis against Anita and Jason (out of the picture)

Bumbo Smurf! And at the pool

Anita, Christopher and Libby at the pool...and Lib testing out the water (she decided it was too cold to go in)

Andrew and I on a 2 seater bike...that was so much fun...although I really didn't do much.

At blue mountain watching the crazy thrill seakers riding down the ski slopes on bikes!

A view of the village at Blue Mountain and the traffic parked on the 400 (heading north out of the city) on the way back home....glad we were going the other way!

It was really cold! Maybe if Libby could swim without my help...but I wasn't going in :)

Yey Libby had her first experience away from the house! Now when she comes to see us she'll be a pro. I can't wait to meet her.
